MISSION STATEMENT:
The Lions Club was Established in 1917, the Lions Club is the largest volunteer service organization in the world, with 1.4 million members serving in over 200 countries around the world. The Lion Club’s mission is to empower our members to help improve people’s health and well being, strengthen their communities, and support individuals in need through humanitarian services and grants that encourage international peace and goodwill.

Living Memorial Tree Dedication
Every memorial tree includes a permanent QR Code. One story teaches visitors about the tree itself, including its species, unique characteristics, and its place within the Arboretum.
The second story celebrates the life of your loved one through photographs, videos, family history, memories, and stories that family members can continue adding for generations. Instead of a memorial limited to a single plaque, it becomes a living legacy that continues to grow.
Help Grow the Arboretum
The Sensory Garden for the Blind is a Tennessee Arboretum featuring more than 30 identified trees. When a memorial tree introduces a qualifying new tree species, it becomes part of the Arboretum's documented tree collection, helping the Arboretum continue to grow toward future Tennessee Urban Forestry Council qualification levels.
Your memorial tree has the opportunity to honor a loved one while expanding the Arboretum for future generations.

Heritage Tree

Larger donations fund expanded care, enhanced site amenities, and commemorative digital memorial pages.
(Approximately 2 inch caliper tree.)
Signature Legacy
$2,500
Premium levels include engraved markers, naming rights for a grove, and annual ceremonial acknowledgments.

Support the Sensory Garden
After the cost of the memorial tree, planting, placard, and QR code has been covered, all remaining donations stay dedicated exclusively to the Sensory Garden for the Blind. Those donations help provide:

- Replacement of memorial trees lost to natural causes
- Garden maintenance Landscape improvements
- Continued beautification of the Sensory Garden
As a nonprofit organization, donations to the Williamson County Lions Club are generally tax deductible as allowed by law.

Chuck's spirit lives on at the Sensory Garden Aboretum for the Blind, his happy place, where he touched the lives of countless individuals and so many youth. Through them, his infectious positivity continues to spread, inspiring others just as he did.
LACEY
The team at Legacy Memorial made the entire dedication process incredibly gentle and meaningful. The private planting ceremony was beautiful, and the grounds are absolutely breathtaking.
DAN
he flowering cherry tree was Dan's favorite. For years, these blossoms have been part of the fabric of Conyers, Georgia, where he spent most of his life. Now one grows here in his memory.
